Following a championship win in the Armed Forces Challenge Series in 2021, Jonathan Candler and Lionheart Racing set out in 2022 to defend their title. Heading into the final round of the championship at Snetterton, Jon was positioned 2nd in the standings. Winning the championship was always going to be a challenge but it was still possible. He started the day perfectly in qualifying, securing pole positions for both races which was a great achievement. In race one, Jon did everything he needed by getting a PI (performance index ) win, securing maximum championship points. Unfortunately, his championship rival finished 4th which made it mathematically impossible for him to retain his title. He finished the final race of the championship strongly and cemented 2nd position in the championship, concluding another great result for Jon and Lionheart Racing.
All at FTX Logistics send their congratulations on another hard fought championship and commendable result.
