Paul Kahn, KBR President of Government Solutions and Sonia Galindo Executive Vice President General Council (USA based) visited FTX Logistics on Wed 19 Oct.
The visitors were given a familiarisation briefing by Managing Director Steve Lawton and a finance update by Finance Director Sharon Mason. They were also updated on the details of the pending Interim Capability Solution.
After meeting head office staff over lunch, the guests received a tour of the Bulford Depot. This included a briefing from Operations Director Mike Holt.
They also visited the workshop hosted by Workshop and Engineering Manager Neil Sanderson.
To help them gain a better understanding of the HET capability the visitors watched a live load of a Warrior armoured vehicle. They were then briefed by Instructor Richie Bridge on the Tru-Hitch recovery system (pictured right) and the winching capability of the vehicle.
Our guests departed with, hopefully, some enjoyable memories and certainly a better understanding of the HET capability.
Our 3PR Manager Ged Ruddock introduced Paul and Sonia to driving our civilian training vehicle.
Senior Instructor, John MacDonald then conducted driver training on the Oshkosh 1070F tractor to give a first-hand understanding of the challenges of driving the HET.
